The London Skyline
If there’s a way to measure success as a blogger– it’s by counting the number of PR companies that think you important enough to try and get a post on your site to boost their client’s rankings. I get a few of these, and I normally just turn them down; not because I’m particularly against company posts, but because they fail my guest post guidelines by being the standard unimaginative “this is why abc are the best at xyz” posts.
But this year the folks at Randstad managed to impress me by sending me this nifty little infographic that lets you track the development of the London skyline over the last 300 years. It’s quite interesting to see how rapidly London has grown upwards, and how late, comparatively, we were to start doing so. In fact, there are now over 200 towers over 20 storeys high proposed for the city- so no doubt us engineers into tall buildings will be kept busy.

And if one of your new years resolutions is to go get a new job, well, I’m sure the folks at Randstad might well be able to help you…
